According to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the province currently has 24 packaging facility codes of 13 facilities. Of these, 21 are packaging facility codes for exporting fresh lychees.
Currently, packaging facilities are granted basic codes to meet the needs of exporting fresh lychees.
Specifically, the Chinese market has 13 packaging facility codes, with a capacity of 974 tons/day. The remaining markets, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand, each have 2 packaging facility codes for exporting fresh lychees; the US and Thailand markets each have 1 facility code.
The provincial Plant Protection Department has sent notices to facility owners to fully prepare conditions for safe and convenient export of fresh lychee.
