Number of iPhone 15 Pro Max discovered by Danang Airport Customs

At 12:30 noon on September 23, the Immigration and Exit Luggage Procedures Team, Da Nang International Airport Customs Branch, discovered suspicious signs in the carry-on luggage of a male Thai passenger entering the country on a flight from Bangkok to Da Nang.

In addition to the items for the trip and the luggage within the duty-free allowance, this passenger brought 20 iPhone 15 Pro Max phones with boxes and accessories but did not declare them to customs.

At the time of discovering the violation, the passenger could not present legal invoices or documents.

Customs said the number of phones exceeded the number of phones normally used by individuals. The male passenger could not prove that the 20 iPhone 15s were for the purpose of the trip.

Apple officially launched the iPhone 15 on September 22. The first iPhone 15 Pro Max were brought to the Vietnamese market through hand-carried routes, mainly originating from the Singapore and Thailand markets.
