According to the Provincial Industrial Parks Management Board, in October, November and the first half of December 2023, industrial parks in Hai Duong attracted an additional 887 million USD in foreign direct investment (FDI).
The FDI capital attracted in the above 2.5 months accounts for over 72% of the total FDI capital attracted this year. Of which, the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board has granted investment registration certificates to 17 new projects with a total investment capital of about 763 million USD; adjusted capital increase for 10 projects, with an additional capital of over 106 million USD.
Some notable new projects include: Stationery factory project of Deli Group Limited Company (China) with a total registered investment of 270 million USD in Dai An expanded industrial park; project of BoViet Solar Energy Science and Technology Company Limited (China) in Cong Hoa industrial park (Chi Linh), with a total registered capital of 120 million USD.
Several manufacturing, processing, electrical and electronic industrial projects from Hong Kong (China), Singapore, Germany... have invested in Luong Dien-Cam Dien industrial park.
Hai Duong province has now been approved by the Prime Minister to plan 21 industrial parks and 3 expanded industrial parks, with a total area of about 4,508 hectares. Of these, 17 industrial parks have been established; 12 industrial parks have been invested in construction and business exploitation, with a total planned area of 1,650 hectares.
