Two collectives and individuals in Hai Duong were awarded certificates of merit by the Prime Minister for their outstanding achievements in studying and following Uncle Ho.

Hai Duong has 1 collective and 1 individual receiving a certificate of merit from the Prime Minister: the Party Committee, government and people of Nam Trung commune (Nam Sach) and Nguyen The Cuong, a student of Ngo Gia Tu Secondary School (Hai Duong City).

Nam Trung is a commune with many outstanding achievements in Nam Sach district, especially in new rural construction. By the end of 2022, the commune had completed all 19 criteria and was recognized by the People's Committee of Hai Duong province as a commune meeting advanced new rural standards in 2022, 3 years earlier than the target. In 2023, the commune was awarded the Emulation Flag by the Provincial People's Committee in the new rural construction movement. This is also the locality that continuously leads Nam Sach district in the commune-level administrative reform index.

During his 5 years at Dinh Van Ta Primary School (Hai Duong City), Nguyen The Cuong was the “legs” of his classmate Mac Kim Khanh. Khanh suffered from leg muscle atrophy. Thanks to Cuong’s support, Khanh was able to move around more easily during his time at school.
