Nearly 30,000 turns of people visited Mao Dien temple of literature in 2017, more than two times higher than 2016's figure, according to the Cam Giang District Relic Management Unit.
Apart from Hai Duong province, visitors mainly came from the provinces and cities of Ha Noi, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Hung Yen, Ninh Binh, Thai Binh, and Ha Nam.
Many schools took students to relics under experience and heritage curricula.
The District Relic Management Unit promoted the propaganda of relics on the district's website, distributed leaflets on relics, and held a number of cultural and educational activities to lure tourists.
