The 50th anniversary of Uncle Ho’s visit to Con Son and the opening of the 2015 Con Son – Kiep Bac Spring Festival are to be televised live by the Hai Duong provincial Radio and Television from 8pm to 10pm on March 6 (i.e. lunar January 16 evening).
The telecast will also be forwarded on channels of the National Assembly and Quang Ninh Radio and Television.
The ceremony will take place with many special contents, such as a commemorative speech, the festival opening, arts, the lively cheo (traditional operetta) piece "Con Son In Dau Chan Nguoi" (His Footprints in Con Son), an incense offering ceremony for festival opening, etc.
According to Mr. Nguyen Minh Quang, Director cum Editor-in-chief of the provincial Radio and Television, to prepare for the live broadcast, the agency will arrange a mobile TV car, 3 – 4 direct and some auxiliary cameras, and a generator in case of power outage.
The fieldwork for the live telecast will be complete on March 5 afternoon. The arrangement and installation of machines will be accomplished on March 6 afternoon.
The agency intends to mobilize more than 30 officers, employees, and reporters to serve the above event.
* The provincial Youth Union has mobilized 150 members and youngsters of Hai Duong University, Sao Do University, and the Chi Linh provincial town Youth Union to serve Con Son – Kiep Bac Spring Festival.
The youth union members and youngsters will participate in traffic guidance and division to ensure security and order on the roads to Con Son pagoda, Tran Nguyen Dan and Nguyen Trai temples, Ngu Nhac mountain, and some other locations.
In addition, the youth union members and youngsters will join in instructing invited guests and the people to observe the Festival Organizing Board's regulations, supporting and guiding delegations and visitors entering the pagoda to offer incense; preventing and fighting fires and epidemic diseases; cleaning the environment; jointly propagandizing and preventing superstitious activities, etc.
