Many activities at Hai Duong - Thanh Ha Thieu Lychee Festival

This is the first year Hai Duong provincial authorities have held a large-scale festival to introduce and propagandize special farm produce of the province, especially thieu lychee.

It is expected that about 600 guests from Central agencies, neighboring provinces, and enterprises purchasing and processing farm produce will attend the festival.

In the morning, enterprises will sign contracts and memoranda of understanding on lychee purchase and sale under the witness of leaders of Central and local bodies and many people.

Delegates and visitors to the festival will learn about specific agricultural products of Hai Duong at 60 booths of the province's districts, provincial town, and city.

In the afternoon, the delegates will choose one of two spots for sightseeing and practical experience.

In Thanh Ha district, they will visit the ancestral lychee tree in Thuy Lam hamlet, Thanh Son commune and pick lychee fruits in a VietGAP lychee garden in hamlet 4, Thanh Xa commune.

In Chi Linh provincial town, the delegates will visit Con Son - Kiep Bac relics and pick lychee fruits in a garden in Hoang Hoa Tham commune.
