Kinh Mon to thoroughly prepare all conditions for early spring festival organization

The Kinh Mon District People's Committee has required communes and towns to organize big festivals on the occasions of Tet Nguyen Dan (Lunar New Year) and early spring to work out plans and thoroughly prepare all conditions for organization.

It is necessary to remedy annoying acts that damage the beauty of worshipping places, remove or replace inappropriate customs, promote the activeness and creativity of people in cultural activities of the community, preserve traditional cultural value, propagandize the value and educational significance of festivals, relics, etc.

In Kinh Mon district, there are a special national relic complex, Cao-An Phu temple – Kinh Chu – Nham Duong, and hundreds of relics in communes and towns.

Annually, tens of thousands of people in and outside the province come for sightseeing and worshipping.
