An incense offering ceremony took place at Kiep Bac temple relic on February 17 morning (the 10th of the 1st lunar month) to start the 2016 spring festival.
This was the first in a series of activities of the 2016 Con Son – Kiep Bac Spring Festival
Attending the event were representatives of the Con Son – Kiep Bac Relic Management Unit, authorities and residents of Hung Dao commune (Chi Linh), and numerous visitors from everywhere.
At 8 am, the parade passed the door curtain and offered incense in the yard and vegetarian and meaty feasts in the inner zone of Kiep Bac temple.
Elders in the commune delivered a speech and made offerings to begin the spring festival with traditional rituals.
This was the first in a series of activities of the 2016 Con Son – Kiep Bac Spring Festival.
