This was the first in a series of activities of the 2015 Con Son – Kiep Bac Spring Festival.
Delegates, residents, and tourists offer incense in front of Kiep Bac temple yard
The Management Unit of Con Son – Kiep Bac Relics, the government and residents of Hung Dao commune (Chi Linh provincial town, Hai Duong province), and numerous tourist from near and far organized the Incense Offering Ceremony on the morning of February 28 (the 10th day of the first lunar month) at Kiep Bac temple relic to open the spring festival. This was the first in a series of activities of the 2015 Con Son – Kiep Bac Spring Festival.
The delegates, residents, and tourists offered incense, vegetarian and meat meals following traditional rituals in the yard and inner area of Kiep Bac temple.
During the Con Son – Kiep Bac Spring Festival, from March 5 – 7, folk games and traditional art performances will take place in Kiep Bac.

* To prepare for the 50th anniversary of Uncle Ho’s visit to Con Son and the opening of the Con Son – Kiep Bac Spring Festival on March 6 evening, the provincial Cheo (Traditional Operetta) Theatre has staged a special art program with the participation over 50 actors and instrumentalists.
The program includes songs praising Uncle Ho, Hai Duong native land, the sacred lands of Chi Linh, Con Son, etc. The lively cheo piece "Con Son In Dau Chan Nguoi" (Uncle's Footprints in Con Son), 38 minutes long, will reenact Uncle Ho's visit to Hai Duong on February 15, 1965.
