Ha Long City authorities are verifying the incident where many people in a group of tourists after having dinner here had stomachaches, diarrhea and had to be hospitalized for treatment.
According to initial information, on August 10, a group of hundreds of tourists from Hanoi went to Ha Long City to travel and stay at Muong Thanh Luxury Hotel.
At dinner that same day, the group had a party at the hotel and the incident occurred. The dinner menu included the following dishes: Emperor salad, Ha Long seafood soup, steamed sea bass with Japanese soy sauce, fried prawns with salted eggs, hand-pounded squid rolls, beef stewed with sour cream jagu - bread, boiled chayote with sesame salt, roasted pork with char siu and pickled cucumber, sour clam soup with mushrooms, white rice and fresh fruit.
After dinner at the hotel, from the night of August 10 to the morning of August 11, more than 20 people in the group had stomachaches and diarrhea; of which 7 people with severe symptoms were taken to Bai Chay Hospital for emergency treatment.
