In general, according to the results of determining the administrative reform index of the People's Committee at the commune level in 2023, Doan Thuong commune ranked first; Duc Xuong commune ranked last. Gia Luong commune had the most progressive administrative reform index when it ranked 3rd, up 11 places compared to the previous year. Thong Nhat commune ranked first last year, and ranked 6th this year.
In addition to the achieved results, the conference also pointed out some limitations in administrative reform of communes and towns such as: not closely following the set of criteria for assessment and determination of administrative reform index of the People's Committee at the commune level of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and instructions of the province and district. Duc Xuong and Tan Tien communes have developed implementation plans but have not demonstrated the spirit of "5 clear" and have not closely followed the assigned goals and tasks. Duc Xuong, Hoang Dieu, Quang Minh and Tan Tien communes still have limitations in implementing working regulations; and commune civil servants have not met professional standards...
Gia Loc District People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 3 collectives and 3 individuals with outstanding achievements in performing administrative reform tasks in 2023; 6 collectives and 3 individuals were awarded in each field.
