East Sea welcomes first tropical depression in 2025

A tropical depression has formed in the East Sea and is moving slowly to the Northwest, with the strongest wind near the center of the depression at level 6, gusting to level 8.

The East Sea may welcome a tropical depression in the next 24 hours.

The meteorological agency forecasts that in the next 24 hours, the low pressure area in the East Sea is likely to strengthen into a tropical depression, with showers and thunderstorms in many coastal areas.
Tropical depression weakens into low pressure area, heavy rain in the North is still complicated

In the next 24 hours, the low pressure area will continue to weaken and gradually dissipate, however heavy rain in the northern provinces, strong winds and large waves in the southern sea are still complicated.
