Vietnam attends Asia-Oceania Cultural and Culinary Fair

Vietnamese Embassy in Brazil participates in the 2023 Asia-Oceania Cultural and Culinary Fair

The Asia-Oceania Cultural and Gastronomic Fair took place at the Brasilia Art Museum in Brazil on August 19.

The event, organized by the group of heads of delegations' wives, attracted the participation of 15 countries.

The organizers of this year's fair aim to raise charity donations for the Santo Anibal Maria Center, an organization of the Institute of Education and Social Culture, which supports the care of the disadvantaged, protects human rights and promotes citizenship in educational and cultural social activities.

The fair attracted more than 1,000 visitors, mainly Brazilians and people from several other South American countries.

The Asia-Oceania Cultural and Culinary Fair is a good opportunity to promote the cultural diversity of countries in the region in general as well as the image of Vietnam and its people with unique and distinctive cultural values.

Information about Vietnam was introduced quickly, effectively and appropriately to delegates and visitors at the fair, creating a good impression on foreigners. Through that, international friends, especially those from countries with little information about Vietnam, can better understand the potential, advantages and contributions of Vietnam to the common development process of the region as well as the world.

At the Vietnamese booth, visitors were delighted to choose unique and creative handicraft products created by the skillful hands of Vietnamese people such as lacquered coconut bowls, mother-of-pearl inlaid coconut bowls, brocade bags, silk scarves, and silk ties.

The fair is also an opportunity for international diners to once again enjoy the delicious, rich flavors of traditional Vietnamese dishes such as fried spring rolls, lemon tea and Vietnamese-style coffee.
