On the evening of May 17, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized a competition program, performing traditional martial arts and lion and dragon dances at the Dong Xu Cultural Center square.
Eye-catching lion and dragon dance
The event attracted 6 traditional martial arts clubs and 4 lion and dragon dance troupes from Hai Duong City, Tu Ky, Gia Loc and Chi Linh City.
At the opening ceremony, the crowd enjoyed a spectacular drum performance and lion dance performed by the lion and dragon troupes. Next were the military performances "Hoi xuyen can ban con"; weapon performances "Song chuy" and "Song to phuong duc".

At the end of the opening performance, the people enjoyed the competition and traditional martial arts performances.
