Fans waited all night to hunt for tickets for the second leg of the ASEAN Cup 2024 semi-final between Vietnam and Singapore. Tickets sold out after only 3 hours of going on sale.
Since the afternoon of December 26, hundreds of fans have lined up in front of the Phu Tho Provincial Gymnasium. All of them have been staying up all night to "hunt" for tickets to the second leg of the ASEAN Cup 2024 semi-final between Vietnam and Singapore.
At 6am on December 27, thousands of people flocked to the ticket sales area. Before the opening of sales, the Phu Tho Province Sports Complex Management and Operation Center had to increase its staff and set up additional mobile fences.
The police force ensures security with only one path from the stadium gate to the ticket sales area. There is no jostling, pushing, or breaking the fence causing insecurity and disorder.
At 8am, the Organizing Committee started selling tickets directly at the only gate in the stadium. Thousands of people waited and lined up with the hope of owning a ticket in hand. According to the regulations, each fan can only buy 2 tickets. The ticket price to watch the Vietnam team play Singapore at Viet Tri stadium has 3 denominations, including: 300,000, 500,000 and 600,000 VND/ticket.
After 3 hours of opening for sale, at around 11 o'clock, the Organizing Committee announced that all tickets for the second leg of the semi-final were sold out.
