From marital conflicts leading to death in Hai Duong

After an argument with his wife on November 18, Trieu Quang C. in My Thanh commune, Bach Thong district (Bac Kan) used a fire extinguisher to repeatedly hit his wife, Ha Dieu Q., in the head, causing her to die after being rushed to the Hai Duong General Hospital.

The victim and the perpetrator came from Bac Kan to live in Cam Phuc commune, Cam Giang district (Hai Duong) to work as factory workers. Neighbors said that the couple lived here like any other family, without any serious conflicts. Recently, Trieu Quang C. quit his job at the company and went out to work. There was also information that C. was involved in gambling, which led to the conflict.

"They also rarely confide in their neighbors, so small conflicts can become more serious because they are not advised or resolved. No one thinks that those conflicts will turn C. into a murderer," said a person living in the same area as C.'s family.

After brutally attacking his wife, Trieu Quang C. committed suicide by banging his head against the railing, but was discovered by neighbors and taken to the emergency room. His health is now normal.

Just 3 days ago, at a motel in Hiep Son ward (Kinh Mon town), Mr. VXH was found dead by locals hanging himself in the bathroom. Mr. H. worked at a spa nearby and had recently had some family issues that were not resolved in time. A local resident said that Mr. H. confided in him about some things and tried to advise him, but no one thought Mr. H. would do such a foolish thing.

Any family has conflicts, whether small or deep. However, in just 9 days, in Hai Duong there were 3 incidents that caused 3 deaths due to family conflicts, making everyone have to reconsider to handle conflicts thoroughly.

Individuals living together in a group or family will have more or less problems. If these conflicts and knots are not resolved in time, they will accumulate and become "hot spots" and erupt at any time. Unresolved family conflicts will turn into mutual suspicion. Mild cases will be loud voices, arguments, severe cases will be fights, cursing, and even more serious cases can lead to murder.

There are many causes of family conflicts: due to inadequate awareness of emotions, inadequate awareness of the law, disagreements in daily life, adultery, economic pressure... Therefore, finding the root cause to resolve and avoid unfortunate consequences is something that each person, each family, agency, organization... must pay more attention to.

To prevent conflicts, leading to tragic murders, each family member must be responsible for themselves and each other. Seeking death to escape conflicts is foolish and leaves behind consequences, haunting the remaining members. Therefore, listening, understanding, and sharing among family members will help promptly resolve problems, avoiding unfortunate consequences.

Authorities, local organizations, residential areas, agencies and work units need to regularly grasp thoughts and aspirations to promptly encourage and support each person to overcome difficulties and conflicts, avoiding unfortunate consequences.
