Special wanted Trinh Van Thai in the fraud ring of TikToker Pho Duc Nam

On March 10, the Investigation Police Agency of Da Nang City Police issued a special wanted warrant for Trinh Van Thai (39 years old, from Thanh Hoa; residing at an apartment in Hoang Anh Gia Lai apartment building, Thac Gian ward, Thanh Khe district, Da Nang city) for fraud and property appropriation.

During the investigation, the police determined that Trinh Van Thai was related to Pho Duc Nam's (TikToker Mr Pips) network, so they prosecuted the defendant for fraud and property appropriation. Do Thai fled his residence, so the investigation agency issued a special wanted notice.

According to Da Nang Police, anyone has the right to arrest and immediately take a wanted person to the nearest police station, people's procuracy or People's Committee.

Previously, Hanoi City Police issued a decision to prosecute the case and prosecute Pho Duc Nam (born in 1990; in Ba Ria - Vung Tau), Le Khac Ngo (born in 1990; in Hanoi) and 24 others for the crimes of fraud, failure to report crimes and money laundering.

Investigation results showed that Nam and Ngo recruited 1,000 employees and opened 44 offices in Vietnam (including 24 offices in Hanoi and 20 offices in other provinces and cities) to commit crimes.

After recruiting employees and opening an office, Nam and Ngo trained the subjects in very sophisticated and methodical ways to approach victims to commit fraud.

In connection with the case, the police have seized and frozen many assets of the subjects, estimated at more than 5,200 billion VND.
