Quickly arrest the subject who stabbed his father and uncle to death due to family conflict

Lam Hoai An (born in 2005, residing in Oc Eo town, Thoai Son district) is the subject who used a knife to stab his father and uncle to death due to family conflicts.

Initial information from the Investigation Police Agency, at around 3:00 p.m. on May 3, Mr. Lam Hoang Sang (born in 1980) and his two younger brothers, Mr. Lam Viet Tien (born in 1983), Mr. Lam Thanh Toan (born in 1987) and Mr. Duong Huu Thanh (born in 1991), all residing in Tan Dong hamlet, Oc Eo town, organized a drinking party at home.

At around 10 p.m. the same day, Lam Hoai An (the biological son of Mr. Lam Hoang Sang) came home from drinking coffee and had a conflict with his father and uncle Lam Viet Tien, leading to a fight, after which An ran away. A short while later, An, Duong Van Hien (born in 2004) and Nu Tanh Linh (born in 2006), all residing locally, rode motorbike 65FA - 018.97 back home to resolve the conflict.

When approaching his grandmother's house, An saw his father and uncles Lam Viet Tien, Lam Thanh Toan and Duong Huu Thanh standing outside with weapons. An immediately got out of the car, took a knife and ran to stab Lam Viet Tien to death on the spot, stabbed Lam Hoang Sang in the hand, and fell to the ground. Not stopping there, An continued to chase and beat Lam Thanh Toan and Duong Huu Thanh with a knife. When Duong Huu Thanh grabbed the knife, An, Hien and Linh ran away from the scene. Lam Hoang Sang was taken to the emergency room by people but died later.

Immediately after the incident, the leader of Thoai Son District Police directed the professional teams to quickly coordinate with Oc Eo Town Police to protect the scene and arrest the suspect. Using professional measures, at around 7:00 a.m. on May 4, Thoai Son District Police arrested An while he was hiding in Ha Tien City, Kien Giang Province.

At the police station, Lam Hoai An initially admitted all his crimes. The police invited Duong Van Hien and Nu Tanh Linh to the headquarters to continue investigating, verifying, and handling them according to the law.
