Nguyen Trai Secondary School strengthens facilities to improve quality

A few days ago, the outdoor playground of Nguyen Trai Secondary School was put into use to the great joy of the students. The playground was donated by former students of the 1994-1998 class on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the school's founding and receiving the Government's Emulation Flag.

Having a playground, the students' long-time wish has come true, and everyone is excited. Doan Thanh Minh, class 7C, shared: "My friends and I are very happy because the school has such a beautiful outdoor playground." Meanwhile, Vuong Lam Oanh, a student of class 8D, said: "We go to the playground, play together, and our friendship becomes even stronger."

According to the school's Board of Directors, on the occasion of the Vietnamese Teachers' Day on November 20, the 30th anniversary of the school's founding, with all their love, many generations of former students directly returned to give or send practical gifts in kind to take care of the young generation today and tomorrow. In addition to the outdoor playground built with a total cost of 60 million VND, former students also presented the school with 11 desktop computers worth 100 million VND; 7 televisions worth 80 million VND; 4 table tennis tables, 2 water purifiers worth 48 million VND along with many teaching equipment such as organs, telescopes, microscopes... Typical are the groups of former students of course 1 (1992 - 1993), course 3 (1994 - 1998), course 6 (1997 - 2001) and many other outstanding individuals...

As a high-quality secondary school in Nam Sach district, in previous years, Nguyen Trai Secondary School still faced many difficulties and lacked facilities. Along with innovation and improving the quality of teaching and learning, the school has consulted with leaders at all levels to build a typical school model in improving facilities, creating the best conditions for students to study and practice.

In the 2022-2023 school year, the school invested in building a 2,400 square meter garden following the school park model, including a system of shady trees, flower beds, and flower paths, with the joint efforts and contributions of students, parents, and teachers. The school combines the park, multi-purpose hall, and football field into a sports complex: soccer, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, badminton, athletics, chess, and mass sports area... Thanks to the diverse sports model, students can play and practice after school hours, so that every day they go to school is a happy day.

The classrooms are also increasingly spacious and clean, with 100% of the classrooms fully equipped with modern and convenient teaching equipment such as: TV, projector, computer, interactive board, microphone, internet connection...

Recently, the Nam Sach District People's Committee has invested in building a 3-storey classroom building, a football field, and a garden for the school with a total value of 6 billion VND. The Provincial People's Committee has also handed over the area and facilities of the old Department of Education and Training to the school with a value of 34.9 billion VND to expand the campus and create a boarding area for students.

With good facilities, Nguyen Trai Nam Sach Secondary School further promotes the educational quality of a high-quality key school. In recent years, the school has continuously achieved the title of "Excellent Labor Collective", been honored as a "leading flag", and maintained the title of a national standard school level 2.

Up to now, after 30 years of construction and development, among thousands of students winning excellent student awards at all levels, the school has 39 first prizes at the provincial level, 3 first prizes at the national level. Notably, in the UPU International Letter Writing Competition, 1 student won the international first prize. The school has been awarded certificates of merit 50 times by the Provincial People's Committee and central ministries, branches and organizations; and 2 times by the Prime Minister. On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of its founding, the school was honored to receive the Emulation Flag of the Government.
