The youth project "Lighting up the countryside roads" in Thanh Son commune, Thanh Ha district (Hai Duong) was coordinated by the Central Youth Union to install 35 lamp posts using solar bulbs and batteries.
On the afternoon of February 1, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union coordinated with Saigon Beer - Alcohol - Beverage Corporation (Sabeco) and the People's Committee of Thanh Son Commune (Thanh Ha) to inaugurate the youth project "Lighting up the countryside roads".
The project “Lighting up the Country Roads” is 1.2 km long from Trang Liet Market intersection to Thuy Lam Market intersection (Thanh Son commune) with 35 lamp posts installed with solar bulbs and batteries. The project started on January 10 and was completed in 15 days.
The project's funding is supported by the Central Youth Union, Sabeco and from the local budget.
This is one of 39 youth projects "Lighting up the Countryside" phase II implemented by the Central Youth Union. Thanh Son commune is the only locality in the province to receive support from this program.
This project aims to promote the use of alternative power sources, minimize environmental impacts, and aim for sustainable development.
