China reduces visa fees for Vietnamese citizens from December 11

According to Xinhua News Agency, from December 11, China reduced visa fees by 25% for citizens of several countries, including Thailand, Japan, Mexico, Vietnam and the Philippines.

The notice of visa fee reduction was announced by the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs on December 8.

Many Chinese Embassies and Consulates around the world will implement a temporary policy of reducing visa fees to 75% of the current rate. The period of application is from December 11, 2023 to December 31, 2024.

Also according to Xinhua News Agency, this is considered the latest solution implemented by the Chinese Government to promote the country's tourism industry.

Local Chinese diplomatic and consular agencies are ready to provide more details, and continue to optimize visa and entry procedures, adopt more favorable policies for foreigners to strengthen relations with countries around the world.
