Mai Van Nam, 27 years old, in Minh Duc (Tu Ky) was just sentenced by the District People's Court to 7 months in prison for stealing 5 roosters.
On the afternoon of December 18, Tu Ky District People's Court tried Mai Van Nam, born in 1996, in Phuc Lam village, Minh Duc commune (Tu Ky) for theft of property.
Previously, at around 10 p.m. on August 29, Mai Van Nam stole 5 meat roosters from Ms. NTD's family in Phuc Lam village, weighing a total of 12.8 kg, worth 960,000 VND.
At the trial, the defendant confessed to all his crimes. The jury sentenced Nam to 7 months in prison.
Previously, Nam also had a criminal record for theft but had not had his criminal record cleared.
