The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just opened the 2024 Hai Duong Province Clean Water Cup Tennis Championship, attracting more than 100 players to participate.
Opening on the morning of November 16 at Ha Hai eco-tourism area (Hai Duong city), the 2024 Hai Duong Province Clean Water Cup Tennis Championship gathered over 100 male and female tennis players from 8 clubs in the province.
The players participating in the tournament are people living and working in Hai Duong province who love and regularly practice tennis at district, town and city clubs; agencies and businesses.
Players will compete in five categories: men's team, men's doubles, men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles. After a round-robin format to determine the first and second teams in each group, the teams will enter a knockout match to compete for first, second, and third place.
This is an annual tournament to promote the movement of tennis training and competition in the province. The tournament is also a place for exchanges between tennis clubs of districts, towns, cities and sectors in the province; thereby discovering and selecting young sports talents to supplement the province's athlete lines. The tournament closed on the afternoon of November 17.
