Comrade Nguyen Phu Trong, born on April 14, 1944; hometown: Dong Hoi commune, Dong Anh district, Hanoi. Permanent residence: No. 5 Thien Quang street, Nguyen Du ward, Hai Ba Trung district, Hanoi. Joined the work on December 5, 1967; joined the Party on December 19, 1967.

WORK HISTORY


December 1967: He worked as a staff member of the Documentation Department of the Study Magazine (now the Communist Magazine); on December 19, 1967, he was admitted to the Communist Party of Vietnam.
August 1968 - August 1973: He was an editor of the Communist Magazine; went on field trips to Thanh Oai district, Ha Tay province (now Hanoi); worked as Secretary of the Communist Magazine Agency's Youth Union.
September 1973 - April 1976: He was a postgraduate student in the Faculty of Economics and Politics at the Nguyen Ai Quoc High-Level Party School (now the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics).
May 1976 - August 1980: He worked as an editor of the Party Building Committee, Communist Magazine, and Deputy Secretary of the Party Cell.
September 1980 - August 1981: He studied Russian at the Nguyen Ai Quoc High-Level Party School.
