Cam Giang District People's Court hears online 5 drug-related cases

On the afternoon of December 30, 2023, on a street in the Vsip industrial park, Chu Van Quang (born in 1990, residing in Luong Dien commune, Cam Giang district) sold a package of heroin weighing 0.032 g to a user and was caught red-handed by Cam Giang district police.

At 2:45 p.m. on December 15, 2023, at Nam village road, Lai Cach town (Cam Giang), Lo Van Ngoan (born in 1994 in Chieng Chan commune, Mai Son district, Son La) was discovered and arrested by the police while hiding 2.464 grams of heroin to sell for profit.

At around 9:50 a.m. on December 15, 2023, at Yen Vu village road, Duc Chinh commune, Cam Giang district police caught Nguyen Van Phong (born in 1993, residing in Lai Cach town) hiding 0.325 grams of methamphetamine for personal use.

At 5:15 p.m. on December 23, 2023, at Phuc Dien Industrial Park, Cam Giang District Police caught Lo Van Hai (born in 1998 in Tan Lap Commune, Moc Chau District, Son La) hiding 0.271 g of heroin to sell for profit.

At 1:15 p.m. on December 27, 2023, at the gate of Van Thai village cemetery, Cam Van commune (Cam Giang), Phan Minh Truong (born in 2001, residing in Duc Chinh commune, Cam Giang) was caught red-handed by the police while hiding 2.552 grams of marijuana for sale.

At the end of the trials, the court sentenced the defendants: Ngoan to 4 years and 3 months in prison, Hai to 27 months in prison, Quang to 26 months in prison, Truong to 24 months in prison and Phong to 13 months in prison.

The above cases were urgently completed by the criminal investigation agencies of Cam Giang district to quickly bring them to trial before Tet holiday in order to propagate, educate and deter the community.
