Over the years, the Earth Hour campaign in Vietnam, initiated by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), has attracted the attention and response of 63 provinces and cities and many people from all walks of life.

The Earth Hour campaign 2021 in Vietnam is co-organized by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

This year, the Earth Hour 2021 campaign has the theme "Speak up for Nature".

Earth Hour 2021 aims to focus on the connection between humans and nature, the symbiotic relationship between species, in order to take specific actions and contributions to solve current major environmental problems, especially energy consumption, saving and efficiency, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

At the same time, the campaign also aims to call for limiting the consumption of single-use plastic products to achieve the goal of gradually reducing and moving towards zero plastic waste in the natural environment.

Along with other countries around the world, Earth Hour in Vietnam this year focuses on online activities and social networks.

With the meaningful purpose of the program, the Earth Hour campaign will not only stop at the symbolic event of turning off the lights but will continue to spread to all organizations and individuals to act together for a green Earth with sustainable development through practical activities on energy saving and environmental protection.
