Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Hoai has just been awarded the 2024 Vietnamese Women's Award. She is from Hai Duong and is a former student of Nguyen Trai High School for the Gifted.
Among the 4 groups, 11 female individuals with outstanding contributions in the fields of life, science and technology were honored by the Vietnam Women's Talent Award Fund and awarded the 2024 Vietnamese Women's Award on October 12, including Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Hoai.
Associate Professor, PhD Nguyen Thi Thu Hoai is currently Deputy Director of the Center for Infectious Disease Research, International University, Ho Chi Minh City National University.
Associate Professor, PhD Nguyen Thi Thu Hoai has published 82 scientific research projects chaired by herself and participated in 12 scientific research topics in the fields of medicine and pharmacy such as: research towards early diagnosis of drug resistance; application of digital droplet PCR technique; alternative therapies for antibiotics... With those contributions, she has won many international awards such as: L'Oreal-UNESCO Outstanding Female Scientist 2023, Young Scientist 2019...
Ms. Thu Hoai was born in 1981, from Hai Duong city, is a former student majoring in biology at Nguyen Trai High School for the Gifted. In 1999, she was selected for the national team to compete in the International Biology Olympiad and received a certificate of merit from the Organizing Committee.
