Lenovo also joins the AI integration race with its Yoga and ThinkPad laptop lines. These products stand out with LA AI chip, a solution to optimize system performance; Legion “Coldfront: Hyper”, an efficient cooling system; and AI generative applications, allowing users to convert text requests or sketches into complete images.

Dell and MSI are also not left out when launching AI-integrated laptop models such as Dell XPS, MSI Cyborg 15 AI and MSI Stealth 14 AI Studio. In which, Dell XPS is equipped with a new processor that provides powerful performance Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite. Meanwhile, MSI lines are equipped with Intel Core Ultra CPU combined with GPU and NPU, providing powerful AI computing capabilities, allowing to run many AI software or services on laptops.

AI leads the trend

According to a report by Indian market research firm MarketsandMarkets, the global AI market is expected to reach $190.61 billion by 2025, growing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 36.62% from 2020 to 2025. This growth is driven by the integration of AI into consumer electronics, including laptops.

International Data Corporation (IDC) also stated that AI-enabled devices such as laptops have enhanced real-time data processing and analysis capabilities, helping to improve user experience and enhance work efficiency. IDC also predicted that by 2024, more than 75% of personal computing devices will have some form of AI built-in, from virtual assistants to smart energy management systems.

In the future, AI will help laptops become more powerful and intelligent work and entertainment tools, handling all tasks and personalizing users.

“Integrating AI into processors and power management systems has increased performance by up to 30% and extended battery life by 20% compared to previous generations of laptops without AI. This is clearly demonstrated through products such as MacBook with Apple's M2 and M3 chips, where AI helps optimize tasks based on actual usage needs,” a report by Gartner, a leading technology research and consulting group in the US, also pointed out the advantages that AI brings.

Similarly, according to research by Juniper Research, a company that develops and markets networking products, AI will help reduce 85% of cyberattacks on personal computing devices by 2025. Thus, AI will play an important role in detecting and preventing threats before they cause damage, thanks to its ability to analyze suspicious behavior and learn from new attack patterns.

It can be seen that the appearance of AI-integrated laptop models has received many positive responses from users and technology experts. Most users highly appreciate AI features in optimizing performance and battery life, especially smart security features and utilities in daily work. Some users believe that AI integration helps them work more efficiently, especially in the context of remote working becoming popular.

In the future, AI is expected to continue to grow strongly, opening up a series of new opportunities and challenges for the laptop industry; especially with the continuous advancement of technology, AI will not only stop at optimizing hardware and software but also bring many significant improvements, helping laptops become more powerful and intelligent working and entertainment tools.

One of the advanced capabilities that AI can bring is to predict and respond to user needs more accurately. Instead of having to manually adjust settings or configurations, users can enjoy a fully automated and personalized experience. For example, AI can track usage habits, analyze data to make recommendations to optimize work, from time management to optimizing performance in heavy applications.

Furthermore, AI has the potential to create entirely new features and applications. For example, intelligent virtual assistants can become indispensable companions, helping users manage tasks, schedules, and even suggesting creative solutions when faced with complex problems. These assistants will learn from users, better understanding their needs and preferences to provide useful and accurate advice.

However, along with the praise, there are also some concerns about security and privacy when devices use AI technology. Users are concerned that AI systems can collect and use personal data without their consent. This is one of the major challenges that manufacturers need to address to gain trust from customers.

Therefore, technology experts say that companies need to ensure safety and transparency in the use of personal data, avoiding unwanted negative consequences. However, manufacturers and consumers can expect a future where AI plays a central role in improving and personalizing the laptop experience.
