Police in the Zurich region of Switzerland have identified and arrested a 44-year-old Swiss man suspected of sending a bomb threat against a courthouse.
According to a reporter in Geneva, on October 25, police in the Zurich region, Switzerland said they had identified and arrested a man suspected of sending a bomb threat letter targeting the court.
The notice stated that the subject is a 44-year-old Swiss citizen.
Police have not yet found any connection between the bomb threat in Zurich and recent incidents in neighboring countries. Authorities are investigating the suspect's motive.
Authorities also checked the subject's residence and found no explosive devices.
Earlier, a court in Zurich ordered staff to evacuate after several media outlets in the city received an email containing a threat to detonate an explosive device in the courtroom.
