According to Brand Finance's annual report, the world's most valuable car brand at the beginning of 2025 is Toyota, with a value of $64.7 billion. The Japanese car company increased its value by 23% and moved up two places compared to 2024, ranking 18th in the list of the world's most valuable brands.
Meanwhile, the 2024 auto industry champion Mercedes-Benz dropped to second place with a value of $53 billion, down 11% from the previous year. Hyundai Group ranked third with a value of approximately $50 billion.
Notably, the runner-up in 2024 - Tesla dropped 2 places to 4th place this year. Tesla's estimated value is only 43 billion USD, down sharply from 58.3 billion USD in 2024 and 66.2 billion USD in 2023.
The next names in the list of 10 most valuable car brands in 2025 are BMW (Germany), Porsche (Germany), Volkswagen (Germany), Honda (Japan), Ford (USA) and Audi (Germany).
Brand Finance also analyzed the brands with the strongest growth since 2020. In the automotive industry, Chinese automaker BYD is considered the fastest growing brand. In 2025, BYD ranked 167th in the top 500 most valuable brands and 12th in the automotive industry, right behind Ferrari, with a value of $3.1 billion.
