On February 27, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed and issued Decision 154/QD-TTg on the establishment of the National Committee for Education and Training Innovation for the 2023-2026 period.

According to the decision, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh is Chairman of the National Committee for Education and Training Innovation for the 2023-2026 period (Committee).
Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha is Vice Chairman of the Committee.
The Standing Members of the Committee include: Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son and Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs Dao Ngoc Dung.
The Committee members include:
1. Mr. Le Hai Binh, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department;
2. Mr. Nguyen Dac Vinh, Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee on Culture and Education;
3. Ms. Truong Thi Ngoc Anh, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front;
4. Mr. Nguyen Chi Dung, Minister of Planning and Investment;
5. Mr. Huynh Thanh Dat, Minister of Science and Technology;
6. Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Tra, Minister of Home Affairs;

The Secretary General of the Committee is Mr. Nguyen Sy Hiep, Deputy Head of the Government Office.
According to Decision No. 764/QD-TTg dated May 26, 2014, the National Committee for Education and Training Innovation is responsible for assisting the Prime Minister in directing ministries, branches and localities in implementing viewpoints, goals, tasks and solutions for fundamental and comprehensive innovation in education and training; especially in directing the development, completion and guidance of relevant mechanisms and policies and focusing investment resources to innovate education and training and develop human resources for the country.
In addition, research and propose to the Prime Minister policies, strategies, programs, plans, projects, national projects, mechanisms, policies, and solutions of an interdisciplinary nature to mobilize resources from the whole society for the implementation of educational and training innovation; assist the Government and the Prime Minister in coordinating, urging, and inspecting the implementation of important interdisciplinary strategies, programs, and projects to create fundamental and strong changes in the quality and effectiveness of education and training, and vocational training; periodically organize preliminary and final reviews of the implementation of fundamental and comprehensive educational and training innovation; perform other tasks as required by the Prime Minister and competent authorities.
