206 cosmetic products manufactured by Belux Vietnam Company were recalled, including shower gel, shampoo, cleaning solution, and skin cream.
The Drug Administration of the Ministry of Health has just signed a document announcing the suspension of circulation, recall and destruction of 206 products manufactured by Belux Vietnam Production and Trading Joint Stock Company (located in Hanoi). These products do not meet the conditions for cosmetic production as prescribed.
The Drug Administration of Vietnam requires the health departments of provinces and centrally-run cities to notify local establishments to stop trading and using the above 206 products, return them to the suppliers, and recall and destroy the violating products.
The Ministry of Health directs the Departments of Health of the following provinces and cities: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Hai Phong, Phu Tho, Ha Nam, Hai Duong, Thai Binh, Nam Dinh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Dak Lak, Gia Lai, Khanh Hoa, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Tra Vinh, Bac Lieu, Dong Nai to supervise the recall and destruction of products that do not meet regulations, and report the results to the Department of Drug Administration before September 15.
