On the evening of August 4, at the stage area "Connecting passions" in the walking street, Bach Dang night market (Hai Duong city), the city's Center for Culture - Information - Sports organized a shuttlecock kicking and rope jumping competition for children in 2024.
There were 100 athletes selected from 17 wards and communes in Hai Duong city. The male athletes competed in shuttlecock kicking, the female athletes competed in rope jumping. The athletes competed in individual competitions according to the rules of calculating the number of times they juggled the shuttlecock and jumped rope in 2 minutes to find the winner.
As a result, the first prizes in the male youth, teenage and children's sepak takraw competitions respectively went to Nguyen Tu Huy (Hai Tan ward), Tran Gia Hung (Binh Han ward), and Tran Van Tri (Thanh Binh ward).
The first prize in the youth, teenage and female children's rope jumping category went to: Phung Thao An (Viet Hoa ward), Do Thi Phuong Thao (Binh Han ward), Nguyen Khanh Linh (Thach Khoi ward).
Shuttlecock kicking and rope jumping competitions are among the four sports competitions held in the summer of 2024 for children and youth in Hai Duong City. This is also an activity to celebrate the 220th anniversary of the founding of Thanh Dong (1804-2024) and the 70th anniversary of the city's liberation (October 30, 1954-October 30, 2024).
