The senior and middle-aged men's teams of Ngo Quyen commune and the senior and middle-aged women's teams of Thanh Mien town all won first prize.
On September 30 and October 1, the Center for Culture - Sports and the Association of the Elderly of Thanh Mien district jointly organized the 2023 Thanh Mien district middle-aged and elderly volleyball tournament.
The tournament attracted more than 300 middle-aged and elderly male and female athletes from 28 teams from communes and towns throughout the district.
The tournament went through 52 matches. The senior and middle-aged men's teams of Ngo Quyen commune, and the senior and middle-aged women's teams of Thanh Mien town all won first place.
This is one of the practical activities to celebrate the 33rd anniversary of the International Day of Older Persons on October 1 and respond to the Month of Action for the Elderly in 2023 of Thanh Mien district.
