Thanh Mien organizes volleyball tournament for middle and seniors
The senior and middle-aged men's teams of Ngo Quyen commune and the senior and middle-aged women's teams of Thanh Mien town all won first prize.
On September 30 and October 1, the Culture - Sports Center and the Thanh Mien District Elderly Association jointly organized the Thanh Mien District Middle-Elderly Volleyball Tournament 2023.
The tournament attracted more than 300 middle-aged and elderly male and female athletes from 28 teams from communes and towns throughout the district.
The tournament went through 52 matches. The senior and middle-aged men's teams of Ngo Quyen commune, and the senior and middle-aged women's teams of Thanh Mien town all won first place.
This is one of the practical activities to celebrate the 33rd anniversary of the International Day of Older Persons on October 1 and respond to the Month of Action for the Elderly in 2023 of Thanh Mien district.
