Vietnam beats Cambodia, still meets Thailand in semi-finals

This time, the scorer was Quang Hai, the best player on the Vietnamese team since the beginning of the match. The midfielder wearing the number 19 shirt skillfully curled the ball past goalkeeper Kimhuy after a pass from Hoang Duc.

In the following minutes, the Vietnamese team continuously pressed to find more goals. However, the strikers on the Vietnamese team's attack line wasted many opportunities to score the 5th goal. The score of 4-0 was maintained until the end of the 90 minutes. With Indonesia defeating Malaysia 4-1 in the match at the same time, the Vietnamese team could only win second place in Group B and will have to face Thailand in the semi-finals of the AFF Cup 2020.
