Israeli airstrikes have damaged 226 archaeological sites in the Gaza Strip since the conflict began in October 2023, with repairs estimated at 261 million euros (more than 270 million U.S. dollars), according to a report released by the Palestinian Ministry of Tourism and Archaeology on February 5.
