About 85% of the total livestock population had been vaccinated, creating high immunity in livestock. Localities had injected more than 300,000 doses of vaccine against classical swine fever and distemper in pigs, 31,000 doses of vaccine against rabies in dogs and cats, and 9,100 doses of vaccine against anthrax in buffaloes and cows; more than 3.6 million doses of vaccine against avian influenza.

Owners of livestock farms and establishments need to strictly control and fully vaccinate their livestock to protect them.
