Hai Duong University students won first prize in the Student Startup Idea Competition

On the afternoon of November 11, Hai Duong Provincial Youth Union organized the final round and awarded prizes for the Student Startup Ideas Competition in 2024.

The contest is for students in the province, participating in groups or individually.

The ideas submitted for the contest are creative, highly applicable, practical, serving the development of the economy, culture, society, health, education, environmental protection in the fields of: science - technology, industry, product manufacturing, agriculture - forestry - fishery, education, health, services, tourism, finance, banking, business creating social impact...

The competition, which was launched in April 2024, attracted 70 startup ideas. After two rounds of "Students with Startup Ideas" and "Students Shine with Creative Ideas", the Organizing Committee selected 10 excellent ideas to participate in the final round.

As a result, with the idea of ​​starting an English and Chinese center called Gina Academic in Cam Giang district, student Nguyen Huong Giang, Faculty of Foreign Languages, Hai Duong University won first prize.

Huong Giang's idea convinced the Organizing Committee because of its feasibility and suitability to the Cam Giang district area, which has many industrial parks with tens of thousands of workers, including many foreign enterprises. Gina Academic Center will apply information technology in teaching, using copyrighted documents...

Second prize went to the idea of ​​starting a handmade product store "Aimée Wool Shop" by Pham Khanh Ngan (Tu Ky High School) and the idea of ​​recycling plastic waste to grow aquatic plants to create a livelihood by a group of students from Nam Sach II High School.

The competition for students with startup ideas aims to encourage entrepreneurial spirit, creativity, dynamic thinking, inspire business, and foster startup ideas of students.
