On May 8 and 9 (April 1 and 2 of the lunar calendar), the People's Committee of Cam Giang district will organize the traditional festival of Bia Temple (Cam Van commune) and coordinate with the Department of Industry and Trade to open the Trade Promotion Week 2024.

At the special national monument of Bia Temple, there will be an incense offering ceremony in memory of the Great Physician, Zen Master Tue Tinh. After the opening ceremony, there will be a ceremony to offer the Saints the four words "Nam Duoc Thanh Nhan"...

The festival not only aims to educate the tradition of "When drinking water, remember its source", national pride, contributing to preserving and promoting the historical and cultural values ​​of the nation... but also meets the spiritual and cultural needs of people and tourists from all over.

Bia Temple Festival is held on the 1st of the 4th lunar month every year.

The festival will have typical activities associated with Bia Temple and different from other festivals such as pulse taking, prescription, health consultation, medicine distribution for tourists... The festival also has cultural activities, arts, sports, folk games, calligraphy.

Also within the framework of the festival, Cam Giang District People's Committee coordinated with the Department of Industry and Trade to open the 2024 Trade Promotion Week; introducing and promoting typical OCOP products of Hai Duong province and Cam Giang district.

The Stele Temple is associated with the life and career of the great physician, Zen Master Tue Tinh, who initiated the national traditional medicine with the view "Southern medicine treats Southern people".

Tue Tinh's real name is Nguyen Ba Tinh, born in 1330 in Nghia Phu village, Van Thai commune, Thuong Hong district (now Nghia Phu village, Cam Vu commune, Cam Giang district). He became an orphan at the age of 6 and was raised by the abbot of Nghiem Quang pagoda. At the age of 22, he passed the Hoang Giap exam but did not become an official but stayed at the pagoda to become a monk, taking the dharma name Tue Tinh. The great physician compiled traditional folk medicine in the book "Nam Duoc Than Hieu".

Bia Temple is located in a special national relic cluster along with Xua Temple and Giam Pagoda of Cam Giang District. The temple was restored in 2005 with 12 items on an area of ​​12,790 m2. Since 2013, Bia Temple has been expanded, upgraded and restored many times.
