This year's crop, localities in Hai Duong tested planting 4 new rice varieties.
Including 3 pure rice varieties including TBR89, TBR97, Ngoc Lam sticky rice and hybrid rice variety Phuc Thai 168.
According to experts, these are rice varieties that usually have high yields, reaching 7 tons/ha or more. The rice varieties are produced on a trial scale of 0.5-1 ha/model. After harvesting, the local Agricultural Service Centers will summarize and evaluate the effectiveness of the model. Outstanding rice varieties with the ability to resist pests and diseases will continue to be tested on a larger area in the next crop.
