Phuong Nhi denies dropping out of college to compete in Miss International

Speaking to reporters, Ms. Pham Kim Dung, CEO of Sen Vang Company, said that the information that Phuong Nhi dropped out of school after winning the title of Miss World Vietnam 2022 runner-up was false. She and her family have requested to reserve her study results to prepare for the Miss International 2023 contest.

After finishing the Miss International 2023 contest in October, the beauty will return to Hanoi Law University to continue her studies.

"The decision to keep her academic results is a discussion between her family, the company and Phuong Nhi herself. We think it is reasonable for Phuong Nhi to keep her results for a year to improve her skills and prepare best for the international competition. After she won the runner-up position, many good things have happened to Phuong Nhi's career. Everything is going in the right direction that we planned. After the competition ends, she will return to school," said Ms. Pham Kim Dung.

Runner-up Phuong Nhi puts her university results on hold to focus on the 2023 Miss International pageant.

On the afternoon of May 23, the event to announce Miss World Vietnam 2nd Runner-up Nguyen Phuong Nhi as Vietnam's representative at the Miss International 2023 contest was held in Ho Chi Minh City. At the press conference, Phuong Nhi was emotional when looking back on her past journey and promised to try her best to conquer the noble title in the upcoming contest.

Reigning Miss International Jasmin Selberg had many compliments for the Vietnamese representative. She shared: "Phuong Nhi has a beautiful face that I can't take my eyes off."

Nguyen Phuong Nhi was born in 2002, from Thanh Hoa. She is 1.7 m tall, with measurements of 80-57-88 cm. The beauty majored in International Commercial Law at Hanoi Law University. She said she is fluent in English and Spanish.

In the Miss World Vietnam 2022 contest, Phuong Nhi won the sub-award for Most Beautiful Skin and was awarded the second runner-up prize overall.

After being crowned, Phuong Nhi participated in many events, appeared on fashion red carpets, and acted in music videos. In 2022, the beauty was a judge for the Miss Mekong Delta contest.

In an interview with reporters, Phuong Nhi said she felt pressured because the public was watching and had high expectations. But that was also the motivation for her to try to improve herself every day.
