The courtroom of Hai Duong City People's Court is crowded and cannot handle cases with many litigants.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Viet Nga, Provincial Party Committee member, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Duong province, spoke at the supervision session.

On the afternoon of August 16, the National Assembly Delegation of the province supervised at the People's Court of Hai Duong City the situation of law enforcement in the trial of criminal cases and settlement of civil, administrative, commercial, family and labor cases in the area, period 2020-2022. This is the first working session in the supervision of many agencies and units on this issue.

At the monitoring session, representatives of Hai Duong City People's Court reported on the achieved results and reflected on many difficulties and shortcomings in law enforcement in the trial of cases and incidents.

Currently, the courtrooms of the unit are still cramped, unable to meet the large number of litigants in some cases. The unit wishes to receive financial support to purchase equipment for online court sessions...

From 2020-2022, the unit received and resolved 3,119 cases, reaching 94% (compared to the same period, the number of received cases increased by 214 cases, and the number of resolved cases increased by 223 cases). Of which, 582 criminal cases were resolved, reaching 94%; 365 civil cases were resolved, reaching 86%; 2,155 family and marriage cases were resolved, reaching 97%...
