Hamas movement agrees to release 10 Thai hostages

Iran provided a list of 10 Thai hostages to Hamas and facilitated their exit from the Gaza Strip on November 24 at the request of the Thai National Assembly Speaker and Foreign Ministry.

The Iranian Embassy in Thailand posted a statement on November 25 saying that the Hamas Islamic Movement had agreed to release 10 Thai hostages after a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas took effect on November 24.

According to the statement, Iran provided a list of 10 Thai hostages to Hamas and facilitated their exit from the Gaza Strip on November 24 at the request of the Thai National Assembly Speaker and Foreign Ministry.

In another development, several security sources said Egypt had received a list from Hamas, including 14 hostages to be released on November 25.

Earlier in the day, Israel also confirmed that it had received a list of hostages to be freed from the Gaza Strip today.
