The Ministry of Industry and Trade has just decided to appoint comrade Duong Trung Kien, Vice Principal of the College of Tourism and Industry to hold the position of Principal of the school for the 2024-2029 term.

Comrade Duong Trung Kien, Vice Principal of Hai Duong College of Tourism and Industry, was appointed as Principal of the school.

Comrade Duong Trung Kien (born in 1975), from Nhu Quynh town, Van Lam district (Hung Yen), has a master's degree in educational management. Comrade Kien has held the following positions: Deputy Head of Petroleum Department, Head of Training Department, Vice Principal of Vocational College of Commerce and Industry; Principal of Hai Duong College of Industry and Commerce; Vice Principal of Hai Duong College of Tourism and Industry.

College of Tourism and Industry is a public school under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, formed on the basis of merging Hai Duong College of Tourism and Commerce with Hai Duong College of Industry and Commerce according to Decision No. 1032/QD-LDTBXH dated August 20, 2020 of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs. The predecessor of the College of Tourism and Commerce was the Intermediate School of Public Catering and Service Technology, established on September 24, 1963. The predecessor of Hai Duong College of Industry and Commerce was the School of Training Technical Workers of Materials, established on March 24, 1973.
