The collision between two tractor-trailers on Highway 5 in Lai Khe village, Cong Hoa commune (Kim Thanh) at 1:35 a.m. on September 30 caused one vehicle to lose control and crash into a house on the side of the road, spontaneously combusting and causing a fire.
At that time, Mr. V.D.M., born in 1994 in Hong Lac commune (Thanh Ha) was driving a tractor 15H-01460, pulling a trailer 15R-05255 on National Highway 5 in the direction of Hai Phong - Hanoi. When reaching km 63 + 300, in Lai Khe village, Cong Hoa commune, he collided with a tractor 34H-03754 pulling a trailer 34R-04949 driven by Mr. PVV, born in 1996 in Cao Ngoc commune, Ngoc Lac district (Thanh Hoa).
The tractor trailer 15H-01460 continued to crash into the house of Mr. N.D.P., born in 1957, in Lai Khe village.
The collision caused the tractor trailer 15H-01460 to burn completely and Mr. N.D.P.'s house to burn down.
Immediately after receiving the news, the traffic police force of Nga Ba Hang Traffic Control Station, Traffic Police Department, Hai Duong Provincial Police coordinated with Kim Thanh District Police to protect the scene and direct traffic.
The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Hai Duong Provincial Police sent forces to extinguish the fire. About 1 hour later, the fire was under control.
Property damage has not yet been determined. There were no casualties.
