An explosion at a five-story building in Türkiye's Corum province killed one person, injured 17 others and damaged surrounding houses.
At least one person was killed and 17 others were injured in a gas explosion on November 3 at an apartment building in Türkiye.
State television TRT reported that the explosion occurred at a five-story building on Osmancik Street in Corum province, causing damage to surrounding houses.
Firefighters, paramedics and police were dispatched to the scene to rescue those trapped in the building.
People in surrounding buildings were evacuated while security forces sealed off the scene.
The Corum Prosecutor General's Office has opened a judicial investigation into the explosion.
