Currently, the Infectious Diseases Department of this hospital is treating more than 10 cases. Notably, many children are treated at home, have high fevers but do not respond to antipyretics, are tired, do not eat, sleep a lot, are lethargic, startle a lot, breathe quickly, have shaking hands and feet, cannot sit still, walk unsteadily... Only when their child's condition does not improve, do their parents take them to the hospital. This prolongs the treatment, harming the child's health. Many children have rashes all over their bodies and infections.

Doctors at Hai Duong Children's Hospital warn that in early summer, erratic rain and sunshine can weaken children's immune systems, making them susceptible to infectious diseases, including hand, foot and mouth disease. Children with this disease often have fever, poor appetite, fussiness, and painful blisters in the mouth, palms, and soles of the feet. The disease often progresses rapidly and unpredictably, so to prevent children from experiencing serious complications or even death, families should take their children to a medical facility immediately when they have typical symptoms and not buy medicine to treat them at home.
