According to some traders, because this year many types of fruit are in season, the supply is abundant and the price is also cheaper than in previous years. Specifically, plums are 30,000-40,000 VND/kg, Thanh Ha lychees are 20,000 VND/kg. In addition, duck meat also sells very well during the Doan Ngo Festival. The price of each kilo of ready-made duck meat is from 85,000-90,000 VND, an increase of 10,000-15,000 VND compared to normal days. Boiled and roasted duck meat ranges from 190,000-240,000 VND/bird. Buying and selling is not only bustling at traditional markets, but also on online markets such as Cho Dong and many other online market groups. Many people choose pre-arranged trays of offerings (usually including sticky rice wine, lychee, plum, rice cake, betel and areca nuts, lotus flowers) with prices ranging from 190,000-200,000 VND/tray.
